Terms and Conditions of rental of Casa de Lilie Rosa

 

 

To confirm your booking

 

  • All bookings will be held for five days (seven days for non UK residents) until either the required deposit or full payment is received. A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total rental price for the period booked is required, along with a completed and signed rental agreement. Any balance due must be paid in full no later than six weeks before the start of the holiday booking, except where the start of the rental period is less than six weeks after the booking date in which case full payment is due within five days of booking.

 

  • If payments are not received by the due date we reserve the right to cancel your booking. Receipts will be issued by email for deposit and balance payments. Your booking is confirmed once cleared funds are available in our bank account.

 

  • In the event of a payment not being honoured by the bank on which it is drawn, a £20 charge will be levied to cover administration costs and bank charges. Amendments to the rental agreement can only be made with the express permission of the owners Ray and Jean Walton, in writing.

 

 

Key collection and directions to the property

 

  • Provided that full payment has been made and your payment has cleared, precise directions to the property and key collection instructions will be issued no later than seven days before the start of the rental period, except in the case of late bookings when details may be issued up to start date of the rental period.

 

Cancellation

 

  • In the event that the booking is cancelled for any reason whatsoever, the following charges will apply.

 

  • Cancellation up to 6 weeks prior to departure, deposit will be retained.

 

  • Within six weeks of departure, 100% of the full rental cost will be retained.

 

  • If for any reason during your stay you decide to cancel your booking, no refund will be issued.

 

  • In the unlikely event of cancellation by the owner, or should the property become uninhabitable prior to your stay, the owners will issue a full refund of the cost of your holiday rental accommodation, along with any securuty deposit paid.

 

  • Under no circumstances shall the owners liability to the guest exceed the amount paid to the owners for the rental period.

 

What's included?

 

  • Your holiday home rental includes: accommodation and all facilities, including water, electricity (unless otherwise stated), gas etc, the use of the pool and  pool hoist (if requested on booking) , bed linen, pool towels (which will not be taken from the property for beach use), bathroom towels and a full clean before arrival.

 

  • Not included in the price are flights, car hire, airport transfers, travel insurance, mid term cleaning and/or linen changes, departure clean, welcome packs, and meals. Pool heating when available must be requested on booking, and paid for in full at the time of clearing any monies for rental.

 

Security deposit

 

  • A security deposit is charged on all bookings. This will be £ 250. This is held against any loss or damage during your stay. Any accidental or willful damage or loss to any property and/or its contents are the responsibility of The Renter and must be reported to the owner's keyholder. Deductions will be made from the security deposit to cover the cost of any damage to, or loss from, any property or should any additional cleaning or removal of accumulated rubbish be required at the end of your stay. An administration fee of £15.00 may also be charged. Subject to no claim being due, the full amount will be refunded no later than 21 days from departure from the villa.

 

Currency

 

  • We trade in Sterling only. It is the responsibility of The Renter to ensure that any bank charges and/or exchange rate fluctuations are taken into account when making payments in currencies other than Sterling.

 

Rental period

 

  • During high season, July and August, the minimum rental period is 7 nights.

 

  • During June and September, the minimum rental period is 3 nights.

 

  • Winter lets are offered at a cheaper rate when the letting is more than a month, please request price before booking. These are January, February, and November and December.

 

  • Access to Casa de LilieRosa is from 3pm, on the day of arrival. The villa must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure.

 

Security and safety

 

  • The directions to the property will contain instructions to ensure each property is kept secure during your stay. In addition the owner or the owner's keyholder may include further instructions in any of the properties. It is the responsibility of The Renter to ensure these, in addition to any reasonable security measures, are carried out. Any loss or damage to or from any of the properties occurring as a result of a failure to follow any or all security instructions or through negligence is the sole responsibility of The Renter.

 

  • Also it is The Renters sole responsibility should failure to follow any or all security instructions, or reasonable security measures, result in injury, illness, loss or damage to any member of the travelling party or their personal property or that of the property owner. We take the safety of our guests very seriously. Unfortunately crimes against people and property are a fact of life throughout the world and you have the same responsibility for your personal safety as you do at home. We therefore advise all guests to be extra vigilant and ensure that great care is taken of your personal property, the accommodation and its contents and, grilles and shutters are fitted to doors and windows please ensure these are closed/locked when leaving the property or in the garden or on the roof terrace. In the event that you should lose any items of value while on holiday through theft or otherwise, you must report the facts immediately to the local police and obtain a written report. If a report is not obtained, it will be difficult for you to pursue any claim through your holiday insurance.

 

Keys & Electric Gate Remote Control (Fob)

 

  • One set of keys/fob will be issued per property. It is The Renter's responsibility to take good care of the keys/fob issued. If the keys/fob are lost, mislaid or stolen all the locks to the property will be replaced. The cost of the replacement locks and keys will be paid by The Renter in all circumstances.

 

Over occupancy

 

  • The size of the travelling party is as stated on the booking form. If the actual number of persons exceeds the number stated admission to the property may be refused. In this instance, no refund whatsoever will be given. If, during the course of your stay, additional people are resident over and above the number stated on the booking form the security deposit will not be refunded and additional charges may be incurred.

 

Age restriction and groups

 

  • The owners cannot accept bookings from groups of teenagers, large single sex groups, groups where the majority are 21 years of age or under, or from hen and stag parties. Groups of mixed ages in one or more properties are accepted solely at our discretion.

 

Travel insurance

 

  • It is The Renter's responsibility to ensure adequate travel insurance is purchased. By signing the rental agreement The Renter confirms that suitable travel insurance has been purchased to cover all members of the party.

 

  • The owners of the property and the owner's keyholder do not accept any responsibility or liability whatsoever or howsoever caused for injury, illness, damage or loss to any of the travelling party as a result of failure to be adequately insured.

 

  • The owner of the property and the owner's keyholder do not accept any responsibility or liability whatsoever or howsoever caused for injury, illness, damage or loss to any travelling party caused by use of the property, and its facilities.

 

  • Guests are required to exercise due supervision and care of children and the elderly/disabled client when near swimming pools, stairs etc.

 

  • The owner of the property and the owner's keyholder accept no responsibility for insurable risks.

 

Complaints

 

  • If, in the unlikely event, you have cause to complain, or have a problem with any aspect of the accommodation during your stay, you should, in the first instance, contact the keyholder responsible for the property in which you are staying within 24 hours.

 

  • The keyholder will make every effort to resolve any complaint/problem that you may have.  We will endeavor to resolve your complaint/problem to your full satisfaction. Should we be unable to, you should make a written complaint, by email, to The Owners within 7 days from the end of the rental period. We promise to respond within 10 working days. Any complaint not reported to the keyholder or to The Owners at the time the problem occurs but only reported after The Renter's return home will not be considered valid. The Owners cannot be held responsible for any temporary defect or malfunction of any appliance, equipment or machinery in the building, grounds or swimming pool. You accept full responsibility of use of all special equipment used, manuals are in situ for usage. Nor can we be held responsible for the defect or malfunction of internet service however we will do our upmost to rectify any problem as soon as possible however we may be dependent on third parties over which we have no control. Under no circumstances shall our liability exceed the amount paid by The Renter for the rental period.

 

Smoking policy

 

  • Case de LilieRosa is strictly no smoking both inside and in the grounds. Any damage caused by smoking inside or outside the property will be charged to the guest and deducted from the security deposit. Any additional cleaning required caused by smoking inside a property will also be charged at a minimum rate of 50 Euros per hour or part thereof and will be deducted from the security deposit.

 

Conduct and behavior

 

  • The villa is located on a residential area. Please respect the privacy and quiet of the neighborhood, keep noise to a minimum after midnight.

 

  • In the event of any complaints that cause distress, danger or annoyance to any resident or other holidaymaker in adjoining properties, The Owners reserve the right to terminate your holiday booking immediately. In this instance no refund will be due and no costs in locating alternative accommodation will be paid.

 

  • Verbal and physical abuse towards, the owner's keyholder, residents or neighbors will not be tolerated and will result in the police being called.
